The control panel, which is a metal cabinet, will be mounted out of the way in a utility closet or in the basement. The metal cabinet contains the system electronics, fuses and back up battery.

Some alarm systems have two names, the Model Number and the Marketing Name. For example, the PC5010 (Model Number) is also known and the Power 832 (Marketing Name) which can be found on your control panel.
