FEDERAL COURT IN TEXAS DISMISSES PATENT INFRINGEMENT ACTION FILED AGAINST DSC & ADT
DSC, the manufacturer and supplier of home security products in more than 140 countries today announced that it has prevailed in a major lawsuit in U.S. District Court in the Eastern District of Texas, involving certain legacy DSC alarm panels. ADT, a sister company under Tyco International, also announced the dismissal of a similar lawsuit brought against them as a distributor and installer of these DSC security products.

Designed to work on Microsoft’s powerful .NET Framework 3.5 and SQL Server Express 2005 database engine, DLS IV offers a number of great new capabilities to make DSC product support easier than ever.
The New DLS IV offers a logical grouping of options and additional modem support. With multiple communication paths available via the Public Switched Telephone Network (PSTN), GPRS Data channel, and TCP/IP stream, DLS IV UPGRADES your DSC products automatically. It supports the new ALEXOR wireless panel and the DSC 2-Way Wireless Security Suite as well as the PowerSeries 9047 and DSC PowerSeries control panels -- PC1616, PC1832 and PC1864 (version 4.2).
DLS IV features live updates to notify user that new panels or modules have been released. If the necessary components are not installed (the NET Framework 3.5 and SQL Server Express 2005 database engine), the DLS IV installer will intuitively download the very latest version directly from Microsoft.com and install it automatically.
With its logical grouping of options, wizards, and templates, the new DLS IV makes it even easier to support and maintain DSC products.
