MILWAUKEE – (April 13, 2018) – Johnson Controls is excited to announce that the award-winning DSC iotega now leverages the interactive and home automation features from Alarm.com, further reinforcing that iotega is the leading versatile wireless security and automation solution available on the market today.

iotega’s cyber secure platform with PowerG 2-way wireless encrypted sensors, combined with Alarm.com, enables users to seamlessly arm and disarm their system in addition to controlling other home automation functions such as lighting, thermostats, door locks, voice controlled devices, doorbell cameras and more. With support for Z-Wave Plus features, in addition to Wi-Fi for cameras and touchscreens, iotega offers consumers freedom of choice with a myriad of home control devices.

The set-up is quick, installed and running within a matter of minutes. Pre-enrollment capabilities with PowerG devices ensures the installation set-up is faster and enables installers to easily manage the future needs of their clients. Service Providers can leverage the Alarm.com platform to quickly configure and support systems with remote diagnostics and troubleshooting capabilities. The recently launched iotega system, from DSC, is an intuitive, completely wireless and fully secure system, using encrypted, long-range wireless PowerG sensors, which provides homeowners and small businesses the ultimate in reliable security and home control.

“We’re pleased to announce the integration of DSC’s iotega into the Alarm.com ecosystem,” said Dan Kerzner, Alarm.com’s chief product officer. ““It gives our services provider partners an innovative and versatile panel option for delivering Alarm.com’s services.”

Steve Shapiro, Johnson Control’s general manager of Residential, Commercial and Connected Home Products said, “We are excited about extending iotega into the Alarm.com platform and leveraging their security and home automation technology.”

Integration of DSC iotega with the Alarm.com platform will be available in the summer of 2018. Johnson Controls continues to integrate with existing and new interactive partners to further enable iotega’s home automation capabilities.

Alarm.com is the leading technology provider for connected home services to more than five million households and businesses.
